Pavement preservation equipment manufacturer Crafco has signed an agreement to purchase a 100,000-square-foot manufacturing facility and 50 acres in Naples, Texas.

The company will use the location to produce its highway maintenance and preservation equipment in addition to its specialty roofing and waterproofing products. Crafco chose the location, it says, because it is “strategically located” in order to meeting growing markets in surrounding states as well as Texas.

The new facility, the purchase of which is scheduled for completion by the end of this month, joins Crafco’s plants in Allentown, Pennsylvania; Chandler, Arizona; Cheyenne, Wyoming; Fontana, California; Halls, Tennessee and Youngstown, Ohio.

The company has not determined a date when the facility will begin production.
