Some of first Skylift scissors produced in Canada

Some of the first Skylift scissors ever produced in Canada

Celebrating the manufacture of its 250,000th aerial work platform this year, Skyjack has launched Quest 2013, a search for the oldest working Skyjack scissor lift. If it’s in your possession, you’ll get to add a new Skyjack scissor to your fleet.

Skyjack, with a history that goes back to a 1969 start in a small Canadian machine shop, built its first scissor lift in 1985.

If you think you’ve got a contender, take a photo of your lift and go to the company’s facebook page,; Twitter account, @skyjackinc and the hashtag #skyjackquest2013; or website, Upload your image, andS provide details such as serial number, year of manufacture and place of purchase.

Quest 2013 applicants will be accepted until Dec. 31, or when verification of the oldest serial number has been identified, whichever is soonest.
