crime scenePolice in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, arrested a man earlier this week for trying to make meth in the bathroom of a public park thanks to the help of a nearby construction worker.

According to a report from the Daytona Beach News-Journal, the worker noticed smoke coming from the men’s bathroom in Detwiler Park along with the smell of “chemicals and acid.” He then saw a man fleeing the area with a bag in his hand, police told the paper.

Police found a one-pot meth lab in the bathroom and traced evidence at the scene to Justin Hall, 20.

Hall was arrested and also connected to a home burglary. He was charged with burglary and manufacturing meth.
