Construction materials costs may be on the rise

Construction materials costs are predicted to increase at a rate of 6 to 8 percent by the end of this year, according to Ken Simonson, economist for the Associated General Contractors of America. Simonson attributes the jump to high demand materials and their irregular supply, which the industry has been unable to avoid.
