Some common ones are landscaping or snow plowing, others might get into environmental cleanup. But one North Carolina contractor took an extra step outside the box.
According to a report from the Daily Journal, Tim Hayden, owner of Hayden Construction Co. in Rockingham, recently bought the necessary equipment and protective gear for his workers to clean up crime scenes.
The small eight-person company recently obtained full certification from the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration, making his crew capable of cleaning up meth labs and sewage in addition to crime scenes.
“Any kind of emergency response situation, we are set up to handle,” Hayden told the paper. “We’re a local company and we appreciate our past clients and look forward to new clients as well.”
