While working at a high school in North Texas, one worker was killed and three others were injured when the frame of the athletic practice facility they were helping build collapsed.
According to a report from NBC Dallas-Fort Worth, the frame of the building collapsed around 7:30 a.m. Thursday at Argyle High School.
The identity of the worker killed has not yet been released. The workers involved are employed by Warnick Metal Building Erectors. The Fort Worth-based company was a sub-contractor on the $3.7 million building for Northstar Builders Group.
It remains unclear what caused the collapse, but the station reports that the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Warnick, the school district and law enforcement officials have opened investigations.
