Bucking the national trend of letting important infrastructure crumble, Connecticut is contracting to refurbish its 23 state owned travel plazas. With budgets in the red, most states are letting their highway rest stops crumble. Virginia has even closed many of theirs leading to massive inconvenience not to mention endangering truck drivers and motorists who need to take a break.
