If you had any business sense you knew this was going to happen. The cash for clunkers program spiked automotive sales in August followed by a huge drop off in sales last month. If you want to teach your kids something about economics this is great lesson in how the government can’t create wealth or opportunity, only take it from one group and give it to another.  I wish Washington knew as much.
