Chinese drywall suspected in off-gassing problems

Homebuilding contractors in Florida aren’t taking any chances after reports that Chinese made drywall may be emitting sulfur gas. Reports of corroded air conditioner coils, computer wiring and metal picture frames, in addition to bad odors, prompted Lennar Homes to relocate homeowners and rip out the suspected drywall.
