Case has debuted a pair of new Tier 4 Final rough terrain forklifts, the 586H and 588H.

Rated at 74 horsepower the two machines don’t need SCR (selective catalytic reduction) or DPFs (diesel particulate filters) which makes them maintenance free as far as the emissions/Tier 4 technology is concerned.

The new RT lifts meet their emissions targets with a combination of diesel oxidation catalyst and a flow through exhaust filter. The company claims 5 percent better fuel efficiency and faster response times compared to previous models.

The 586H lifts 6,000 pounds with a 15-foot mast and 3,000 pounds with a 22-foot mast. The 588H offers 8,000 pounds lift capacity on its 15-foot mast and 4,000 pounds with it’s 22-foot mast.

The units offer a 45 degree forward mast tilt and 15-degree backward mast tilt and optional load control technology. Their zero tail swing design will get you in and out of tight spaces that might constrain models with a larger footprint. A dual mast design, narrow console and sloped rear hood improve visibility all around.
