Han Solo might have told Iowa not to get cocky when it made news a year ago with the creative messages displayed on the state’s electric highway signs, but the Force is strong with these.

The Huffington Post reported that the Iowa Department of Transportation has continued its “Message Monday” campaign with the electric highway signs, and it’s banking on the highly anticipated release of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” on Friday.

Messages like “Texting and driving leads to the dark side” and “Awaken your inner force. Focus on the road,” have begun appearing on electric highway signs throughout the state. Building off the hype surrounding the return of “Star Wars”, transportation officials in Iowa hope the signs will make drivers think more about safety on the road.

“We try to make all our Message Monday signs relevant,” IDOT spokeswoman Tracey Bramble said. “With the big movie premiere this week … we asked around the Iowa DOT for suggestions. While we typically stick to just one message per week that runs from midnight Sunday night to midnight Monday night, this week we had just too many good messages to choose just one.”

The signs also include messages like “Be a rebel, not a clone. Put down the phone” and “Road rage? Let the Wookiee in.”
