Archbold, Ohio Bil-Jax is again growing in the trailer boom market with the addition of Aerial Work Platform service dealers domestically and internationally. These dealers are a service, parts, and distribution point for Summit Series Trailer Mounted Boom Lifts and X-Boom Self Propelled Boom Lifts.
The growth of our international dealer business is a logical extension of our current US marketing and sales strategy. By the end of 2008, we expect to have 20 dealers throughout the world,Âť noted Chuck Hutchinson, Vice President of Sales for Bil-Jax.
Establishing a US dealer group allows us to locate our parts and service resources closer to our customersÂť, added Tadd Duvendack, Manager of Dealer Sales.
These dealers will offer the new X-Boom Self-Propelled lifts as well the Summit Series Trailer Mounted lifts. X-Booms are available in two models; the 36XT is a telescopic boom featuring 43 ft (13.4 m) of working height and a 32 ft (9.8 m) of maximum outreach and the popular 45XA is an articulating boom with a 51 ft (15.6 m) working height and 27 ft (8.2 m) of maximum outreach. Summit Series Trailer Mounted lifts feature three articulating models with working heights from 43 ft 2 in (13.3 m) to 61 ft 3 in (18.8 m) and two telescopic models in working heights of 32 ft 6 in (10.1 m) and 43 ft 6 in (13.4 m).
