Atlas Copco is in the process of revamping its Dynapac line of road construction equipment, the company announced.

The most noticeable change to Dynapac-branded equipment, as we saw with last month’s reveal of the CA1300 and CA1500 single-drum soil rollers, is a new bright yellow paint job. The yellow scheme replaces Dynapac’s traditional red splashes of color and Atlas Copco says the color gives the machines a “fresh look.”

More importantly however, Atlas Copco says it is busy updating the Dynapac line with changes that enhance operator visibility and comfort.

The company gave a few examples of these changes. First, the F1000 series paver features a low-profile deck and two swing-out operator platforms that improve visibility. Meanwhile, the paver’s controls are grouped in such a way as to reduce operator fatigue during long shifts.

Atlas Copco also made mention of the CA1300 and CA1500’s ability to travel backwards and forwards up steep inclines.

The company said it will have even more to new Dynapac features to reveal at the World of Asphalt show in March.
