Army awards $21 million reconditioning contract to JLG

The U.S. Army has awarded a three-year, $21 million contract to JLG Industries for the reconditioning of 350 All-Terrain Lifter Army System vehicles and 350 predecessor models. JLG will recondition the ATLAS vehicles and predecessor models, which will be returning from Southwest Asia, to bring them up to current unit standards. David Peacock, director of military programs for JLG, said supporting the company’s customers with after-market service and managing the lifecycle of products are key components of a longer-term plan to grow revenues from non-new machine sales.
