IECA registration open; expo Feb. 22-23

The International Erosion Control Association (IECA) has opened registration for its annual conference and expo, Environmental Connection 2011 (EC11). Interested parties can visit IECA’s Website for details on full-day courses, shorter technical sessions, special events and the exhibit hall.

Some of the new full-day courses featured at EC11 include: Successful LID Practices to Control Erosion and Develop a Sustainable Project with Brent Hallock, PhD, CPESC, CPSS; Sustainable Native Plant Establishment for Erosion and Sediment Control with Adrian Juncosa, PhD; Erosion and Sediment Control Design for Stream Restoration Projects with Jan Patterson and Watershed Protection and Restoration: A How to Guide for TMDLs with Jay Riggs, CPESC, CPSWQ.

The expo, Feb. 22-23, will showcase the latest in erosion, sediment control and stormwater products and technology. With exclusive expo hall hours, attendees don’t have to choose between attending sessions or cruising through the expo—there’s enough time for both.
