TRIP releasing ‘Future Mobility in Idaho’ report tomorrow

TRIP will release a new report, “Future Mobility in Idaho: Meeting the State’s Need for Safe and Efficient Mobility,” tomorrow at a news conference in Boise at 10:30 a.m., on the front steps of the State Capitol Annex.

The report evaluates the current condition, use and funding of Idaho’s highway transportation system. It analyzes road and bridge conditions, traffic congestion, economic development, highway safety, and transportation funding in Idaho, as well as the impact of funds received from the federal stimulus package.

The report also contains lists of Idaho’s most deteriorated roadways, deficient bridges, most congested sections of roadway, and needed projects that currently lack adequate funding to proceed.
