The National Trailer Dealers Association (NTDA) will serve as an InternaÂtional Co-Host Organization for the 4th Annual Transportation & Infrastructure Convention, March 9â11, 2011, in Washington, D.C. Members of the NTDA Board and staff will attend the event foÂcused on transportation policy.
The purpose of these programs is to provide an environment where leaders can dialogue, advocate, learn and network with the nationâs transportation leaders. The Convention will bring together policymakers, elected officials, transportation and engineering experts, and members of the private sector with the goal of improving the U.S. transportation infrastrucÂture.
Transportation officials in Washington are looking to city, county and trade organization leaders to play a more significant role in shaping national transportation policy. Our nationâs infrastructure is at a critical juncture.
The theme for the Transportation and Infrastructure Convention and Summit is âModern Mobility: Advancing to the Future,â which reflects the necessity of transportation solutions that not only solve imÂmediate infrastructure needs but also promote sustainability and efficiency well into the future.
A multi-modal transportation infrastructure network that is safe, efficient, well maintained and expansive enough to meet the increased population and economic demands will be at the forefront of conference discussions. Key legislative leaders will participate in the conference. For additional details, visit http://www.ntda.org/NEWSANDEVENTS/tabid/59/mid/389/newsid389/274/Default.aspx.
